AUGUST PARTNER LETTER
“Stay With God”
By Pastor Curtis C. Perryman, Sr.
Kingdom Life Faith Center

Dear Members and Partners,
Grace and peace to you, beloved. I want to thank you for taking the time to read this letter. It means more than you know. Each month, I consider it a divine assignment to write to you not out of obligation, but out of deep love and responsibility as your pastor and spiritual leader. This isn’t just a letter; it’s a moment to pause, reflect, and realign.
As we step into August, the Lord impressed one powerful truth upon my heart that I must share with you: “Stay with God.”
That’s the message. That’s the instruction. That’s the answer.
We live in a world full of noise, speed, and constant change. There’s pressure from every side to perform, to compete, to figure things out in our strength. But what if the breakthrough isn’t in doing more but in staying rooted in the One who has already done it all?
The greatest wisdom in this season is not to run ahead, fall behind, or look around but to simply stay with God.

1. When I Stay with God, I Rely on Him
Acts 17:28 declares, “For in Him we live, and move, and have our being.” That’s not poetry or a great thing to say; it’s a lifeline. Staying with God means you stop leaning on your own understanding and start relying on His presence, His plan, and His provision.
When we try to live without reliance on God, we quickly become overwhelmed. But when we stay with Him, we find rest for our souls, peace for our minds, and supernatural strength for every assignment. Relying on Him is not weakness, but wisdom.

2. When I Stay with God, I Remain in Him
In John 15:4–7, Jesus speaks plainly: “Abide in Me, and I in you…” This isn't about visiting God occasionally; it’s about making Him your dwelling place. A branch disconnected from the vine will wither, no matter how green it once looked. The same is true for us.
Remaining in God is a daily decision. It’s waking up and saying, “Lord, I’m not moving until I know You’re moving with me.” It’s choosing intimacy over independence. It’s in this place that fruitfulness is born not by hustling and grinding, but by staying with Him.

3. When I Stay with God, I Rest in Him
Psalm 37:7 tells us to “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him.” Hebrews 4 reminds us that there remains a rest for the people of God. And yet, many of us live weary, anxious, and restless.
Staying with God invites us to step out of performance and into peace. His rest isn’t lazy or passive; it’s powerful. It’s the posture of a person who trusts that God is working even when they can’t see it. When you rest in Him, you're not retreating; you're recharging.

4. When I Stay with God, I Remember Him
Psalm 77 is a beautiful, honest cry from David’s heart. He reflects, he questions, he weeps, but then he remembers. “I will remember the works of the Lord… I will meditate also of all Thy work.”
Staying with God causes you to look back and see His fingerprints all over your story. Even in seasons where you felt abandoned, His grace was there. The more you stay with Him, the more your memory becomes a reservoir of His faithfulness.

5. When I Stay with God, I Reverence Him
Psalm 8 asks, “What is man, that You are mindful of him?” That’s the heart of reverence. It’s the realization that the same God who hung stars in the sky knows your name and cares about your life.
When you stay with God, your heart begins to bow in awe. Not out of fear—but out of honor. You begin to appreciate not just what He does, but who He is. You move from being a consumer of His blessings to a worshiper of His glory.

6. When I Stay with God, I Respond to Him
John 10:3-5 describes the relationship between the Good Shepherd and His sheep. They know His voice. They respond to His call. They follow Him and not a stranger.
Staying with God sharpens your spiritual ears. You stop chasing every opportunity, every opinion, every open door, and you begin to follow His voice with confidence. You become more responsive to His promptings, even when they don’t make sense in the natural. The more you stay, the better you hear.

7. When I Stay with God, I Position Myself to Be Rescued by Him
Psalm 34 reminds us that “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” Trouble may come, but rescue is near for those who stay in God’s presence.
Staying with God doesn’t make you immune to problems; it makes you immovable in them. His eyes are on you. His ears are open to your cry. And at just the right time, He’ll step in with power, with mercy, and with deliverance.

Final Encouragement
Beloved, this is the call for August: Stay with God.
Don’t just visit Him on Sundays. Dwell with Him daily. Don’t just pray when you’re desperate; stay in communion with Him always. Don’t just seek Him when you’re weak, walk with Him when you’re strong. Stay, remain, rely, rest, remember, reverence, respond, and receive rescue.
This is not the season to wander. This is the season to anchor your life in the One who holds it all together.
I’m praying over you, your family, your health, and your finances. Let this be a month where you go deeper, stand firmer, and grow stronger—simply because you stayed with God.
